Sarah trained & started freelancing in 1997. Originally pursuing a career in fine art, becoming interested in floristry at an early age, whilst living abroad in the med surrounded by all the natural beauty, light, colour and customs.

History

After a period working in London & Oxford, hello flower was born with a shop in Hungerford, (Berkshire) in 2001, gaining a reputation for strong technical execution, an eye for detail & an appreciation of classical & contemporary design.

Commissions include all manner of floral gifts & regular contracts with corporate and private clients. Many of those have remained firm commissions over time.

Now recently modified, the business concentrates on bespoke work, responding to the demand for more creative & individual designs. Sarah continues successfully supplying flowers & arrangements for events taking place in many venues, marvelous marquees, local barns, beautiful country & private houses all across the south and in London.

Particularly poignant events have included creating special displays for Marriages, parties, funerals & life celebrations capturing the little details & personal notes requested... Going the extra mile thanks to many years developing keen listening skills & interpreting clients desires.

These commissions have stretched the imagination and challenged technical knowledge in new ways and keep ideas flowing a new!
